Mark Murray, LPC, BCB

Mark is a nationally certified biofeedback practitioner since 1980.  Mark will be sharing his time and expertise not only at  his business -

CORE Rehab Services, Inc. based in St. Louis, MO, but also two days a week in Alton at this location .  Mark uses biofeedback and neurofeedback to help improve conditions that are related to instability of mind and body.  The symptoms we experience can consist of insomnia, headache, anxiety, ADHD and even depression.  With biofeedback, people are trained to self regulate mental and physical states that are out of balance by using instruments to guide them.  Neurotherapy helps to change brainwave configurations in order to promote more normal functions.  This is done using a variety of modalities including a form of a video game.  The client is effectively playing the video game with his or her brain.  Eventually the brain wave activity is "shaped" toward the more desire, more regulated performance.
