Welcome

Thank you for your interest in our counseling services.

What you should know about counseling, the independent therapists and our mission.

Lots of people have difficulty adjusting to the challenges of daily life.  It's not unusual to feel anxious or uneasy about work, relationships or the pressures in the world.   Counseling is a place where you can go to talk out their problems and to help process events.  You can get help in recognizing strengths, resiliencies and growth areas.  You will be empowered to achieve your goals through a strong therapeutic alliance.  The process of counseling may be challenging at times but it can also lead to a very positive outcome.  This can be a "turning point" in one's life; therefore, one of the motto is: "Find Your Turning Point and Move Forward".

Each of the therapist is an independent sole proprietor and sharing office space in a central location down town Alton.  Each of the therapists has brought their own specialty, commitment and resources to their practice.   Even as independent sole proprietors, we share the same goals, work well together and draw on each other’s knowledge and skills.  The goals are to help and enrich the lives of our clients and to tailor our own practice to meet the needs of the community.

Counseling  Services:

The services provide by any of the independent therapist includes, but are not limited to; art therapy, self esteem, anxiety, depression,  ADHD, grief/loss/illness, stress management, guided imagery and dream work, meditation, healthy marriage/relationship counseling, divorce mediation,  parenting issues, school/behavioral problems and other issues that effect ones life.   Other services offered are biofeedback and neurofeedback to help one understand and achieve optimal personal health and enhance self-image.  Educational, wellness and support group are available.

Each therapist offers affordable comprehensive well-being health care and accept most insurance plans.  Office hours are flexible and include some evenings.
